Sizanani Plastics, founded in 1998, offers a wealth of custom moulding expertise to existing and prospective customers in all aspects of ensuring that the finished product meets the expected criteria.
Operating out of a purpose designed, modern plastic converting facility of 4,500m2, we offer manufacturing in all plastic materials, from general purpose to high grade industrial types and grades, with the exception of r-PVC and silicone.
Approximately 1,500 different components are manufactured for top tier customers every month, some in smaller quantities and others in millions of parts, which are delivered across the greater Gauteng area.
Over 30 injection moulding machines with sizes ranging from 40 to 800 tons, with a 10-ton overhead gantry ensures a quick and effortless placement of small to large moulds. As most moulds belong to customers, a mould storage area with dedicated shelf space accommodates almost all moulds. Sizanani Plastics does not insure customer’s moulds as these items form part of the customer’s assets. However the moulds are properly protected from damage, rust and breakages.
Our Intention is to drive towards absolute perfection, and as a result almost all machines are equipped with automation such as spruce pickers, beside-the-press granulators and automated shot-by-shot feeding systems where colour and moulding materials are pre-blended to ensure absolute colour matching. Some machines have been fitted with pick-and-place robots and it is our intention to continue with this type of development.
